Yesterday evening The Willing had a meeting in the garden of the Chalk Farm Hotel to talk through some ideas for Willingdon. A lot of interesting ideas were discussed and the most popular were:
A community orchard
We are putting out feelers to various organisations with land to allow us to set this up.
Tree planting.
Local Food Festival
A social event with local food as the centrepiece.
Box share
Putting excess produce (food, plants and unwanted items) out on your step for others to take for free.
Pop-up repair shop including push bike repair.

Bulk buying and sharing
We already have some people sharing washing up liquid/shampoo and hand soap and we are looking for a venue to have a regular “Come and fill-up” morning.
